+In-repo snapshot of the project's working notes (Claude Code memory).
+
+**Canonical source:** `~/.claude/projects/-home-jon-nexus-core/memory/`
+The files here are a committed copy so the notes travel with the repo and survive
+a fresh machine. They are **not** read by any code at runtime — purely reference.
+
+`MEMORY.md` is the index; the other `*.md` files are one note each.
+
+If the two locations drift, the `~/.claude/.../memory/` copy is authoritative —
+re-sync from there, not the other way around.
